South Africans urged to vote for Table Mountain in World Travel Awards

South Africans have been urged to use the next three weeks to vote for Table Mountain to take top honours at the World Travel Awards.

The closing date for voting has been extended to 22 May.

Table Mountain and Mount Kilimanjaro are competing to take the title of Africa’s leading tourist attraction.

Robben Island and the V&A Waterfront are also in the running, along with Egypt’s Pyramids of Giza.

Table Mountain’s Wahida Parker said the competition is tight this year.

“We need your vote to bring home the title of leading attraction in Africa yet again. Please! Please! Please cast your vote and make sure that our new Seven Wonder of Nature remains the leading attraction in Africa for the fifth time in a row.”
