The main purpose of the position:
Effective management of the wool business with related branches in order to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
Appropriate post-matric qualification (B.Sc.Agric or Diploma in Agriculture) an advantage
3 years of managerial experience
10 years experience in the wool and/or wool marketing business
Valid drivers license
Skills:
Computer literate (MS Office);
Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English
Strong negotiation skills
Must be able to thrive under pressure
The ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and to motivate and manage staff
Excellent understanding of the wool industry
Responsibilities:
Cost-effective management of wool flow for marketing
Ensure accuracy of catalogues and wool preparation
Ensure wool trade at market-related prices
Achievement of wool budget
Management of staff
Management of customer service
