On Monday night SRC president Aphiwe Mnyamana was suspended, adding to the low morale of students. But he’s rejected his suspension and wants to meet with the vice-chancellor.
This is the second week of protests after a deadlock with Wits management. Striking NEHAWU workers at the university have since joined students.
