Wits allocate R10 million to students affected by COVID-19

Wits University Vice-Chancellor Professor Zeblon Vilakazi says the institution has allocated R70 million to help students as part of its hardship fund.
Vilakazi says, this year, Wits added another R10 million as a once-off COVID-19 relief fund to deal with student financial issues.
This R10 million can only be accessed by students badly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Vilakazi also says management and students have met on several occasions to discuss funding issues.
