Serious heartbreak for Musa Mseleku as he fails to take wife number 5
South African polygamist and reality star Musa Mseleku has failed to take on a fifth wife as revealed at the end of season five of his reality show Uthando Nes’thembu.
Musa Mseleuku wanted to take on a fifth wife but his other wives were against it. The polygamist is married to four women – MaCele, MaYeni, MaNgwabe and MaKhumalo. The fifth wife is allegedly Faith Duma.
He expressed that he asked his wives permission to take on the fifth wife in a modern way. This was because in the olden days he would just be telling them. Musa explained that previously he would ask the first wife and she would ask the other wives but in modern times it does not work that way.
“I’m asking my wives to allow me to take a fifth wife, it’s no longer a question to me. I’m just waiting for them to say yes or no. And, I’m doing it the modern way. If it was before [during the olden days], I’d be telling them that I’m taking another wife,” he said according to The Citizen.
“The way it’s supposed to be done, is for me to engage with the first wife and tell her I intend to take a fifth wife and she would communicate with the other wives, but in the modern times – it does not work that way because all the wives have to be treated equally,” he continued.
