The news of Mike’s arrest had most of us shook to the core as we would not have expected activities of this nature from a such a revered legend. Sowetan reported that the former Kaizer Chiefs player and football commentator was arrested after police discovered a drug manufacturing laboratory in his plot in Randfontein, west of Johannesburg.
On Monday, the Randfontein Magistrate’s Court granted R50 000 bail to Mike ”Sporo” Mangena. This comes after the South African football legend was busted for manufacturing illegal drugs.
However, his three co-accused were not so lucky as they were denied bail and will remain in custody until February 2019. The disgraced soccer legend was the butt of many jokes after he was seen chewing on something during his court appearance today. Many jokingly suggested that it was probably muthi for good luck.
