Western Cape police launch manhunt after officer & friend killed in Khayelitsha

The Western Cape police launched a manhunt following the murder of a 39-year-old police officer at Site C in Khayelitsha.

Police said the officer was off duty when he and a friend were shot and killed in Solomon Tshuku Street on Friday.

The officer and his friend succumbed to gunshot wounds in the hospital.

Police are investigating a double murder case, and anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to contact Crimestop on 08600 10111.
