JOB DESCRIPTION
The Engineering Department is looking to recruit an honest, energetic and experience qualified individual to join their Department.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Perform general welding on structures, trailers, trucks and other equipment
Do positional welding where required
Works in conjunction with Boilermaker
Must be proficient in Arc, MIG and TIG welding
Applicants must have the following qualifying criteria:
Welding certificate or equivalent qualification.
2 – 3 years post qualification experience
Knowledge of various power tools
Knowledge of various hand and workshop tools is an advantage
Enjoy technical activities
Strength to handle materials, tools and machines
Good hand-eye coordination
Ability to work under challenging conditions
Able to work both independently as well as in a team
Basic knowledge of Health and Safety Rules
Must not have fear of heights
Willingness to work overtime and shifts
Must be physically fit and not have fear of heights
