Joburg residents prepare for water shutdown

Johannesburg Water has announced a water outage which will affect areas such as Roodepoort, Randburg, Soweto, Southdale, Ennerdale, and Joburg Central.

The utility said the Rand Water outage will start on Tuesday until Friday, a day later than previously planned.

According to Joburg Water, officials will be carrying out maintenance of the affected infrastructure.

Residents in affected areas have been warned that recovery can take between five and 14 days after the supply has been fully restored.
