Urgent intervention needed to deal with persistent water outages
Water Expert Anthony Turton says urgent intervention is needed to deal with the persistent water outages in Gauteng.
Turton says we are witnessing institutional failure in the three metros in the province.
The Johannesburg, Ekurhuleni, and Tshwane metros have been hit by water supply challenges.
“This problem has been a long way coming and it is now upon us. We are now seeing institutional failure of the three metros, the three major metros in the Gauteng area,” Turton said.
