R9 000 a month
Warehouse Operator will be responsible to inspect incoming goods for defects, correctness and completeness against the approved Purchase order and label received stock items.
Duties
Physically move stock into warehouse, pick-locations and record all movements correctly into ERP system.
Administrative tasks e.g. filing of relevant documents, data for reporting, receiving slips, ERP system processing, etc.
Daily monitoring of stock levels, including raw materials stock levels.
Generate Purchase Requisitions to maintain minimum stock levels.
A sampling of received raw materials.
Picking and delivering of stock to other functions, against Internal Use Request, and processing the stock movement on the ERP system
Perform effective Quarterly stock counts in conjunction with the Logistics Procurement & Warehouse Administrator and Financial Controller
Ensure that all faulty items, incorrectly delivered items are returned to the supplier within the applicable time frames as per contract terms
Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
Experience & Qualification
Matric with Mathematics
Driver’s License
Minimum 3 years experience the inwarehouse environment
Relevant experience in SAP
Microsoft Office packages
