Waging war on crime in Joburg
Joburg mayor Mpho Phalatse has promised to work towards ending violence in schools.
Phalatse joined the Okae Molao police operation on Saturday night.
She said the city is concerned about violence in our schools.
“We will be going to schools with all forms of programmes across our different departments across the province and safety is one of them,” she said.
During Saturday’s operation, a number of people were arrested for drunken driving.
Asserting the authority of the State & bringing back confidence in the community.
