Naptosa disappointed about wage ruling

Teacher union Naptosa says it is disappointed by the Constitutional Court’s judgment on public sector wages.
The apex court dismissed Nehawu’s application for leave to appeal the government’s backtracking on a 2018 collective wage agreement.
The union has been arguing that National Treasury did not offer evidence to support its claim that it raised objections to the disputed 3.3 clause of the 2018 public sector wage agreement.
Had the agreement remained in force, public servants would have had pay hikes of CPI plus 1 percent till 2021.
