ActionSA says former MP Vytjie Mentor has died.
The 58-year-old had been in hospital for several months.
Mentor was one of the first people to blow the whistle on state capture.
She testified at the Zondo Commission that the Gupta family offered to make her a cabinet minister.
Mentor served as an ANC member of Parliament from 2002 to 2014.
She then joined ActionSA as chairperson in the Western Cape.
