Paul Mashatile’s VIP protectors back at work
The eight VIP protectors of Deputy President Paul Mashatile are back at work, but they are office-bound.
The eight were seen on camera assaulting three civilians on the N1 highway in July.
They will sit for trial in May next year.
The officers briefly appeared in the Randburg magistrate’s court on Wednesday where the state indicated it’s ready to go ahead as its investigations have been concluded.
