Cops arrest farmer for alleged role in violent Senekal protests
Free State Police have arrested a farmer for his alleged role in a protest outside the Senekal Magistrate’s Court.
Farmers stormed the court and clashed with police on Tuesday.
The farmers were demanding that two suspects in the murder of farm manager Brendin Horner be released to them.
In a statement, police say the suspect will be charged with malicious damage to property and public violence.
Police say more arrests are imminent.
