Vincent Smith’s bail extended to December

Former ANC MP Vincent Smith’s bail is extended to 3 December. Smith faces charges of fraud and corruption, relating to two payments made to his company Euro Blitz 48, by Bosasa.
Smith appeared briefly in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court.
Meanwhile, the state is opposing the bail application of former Bosasa executive Angelo Agrizzi.
That’s the word from the state, as it opposes his bail application, but he’s still fighting for his freedom.
The NPA’s Asset Forfeiture Unit is also chasing after Agrizzi, for failing to declare millions of rand in assets.
