Horror KZN crash leaves families of 12 victims traumatised

The families of 12 people who’ve been killed in a horror crash involving three trucks, a bakkie, and a minibus taxi in KwaZulu-Natal are traumatized.
Eight others were rushed to hospital following the accident, which happened on the R612 between Highflats and Ixopo on Thursday morning.
Premier Sihle Zikalala and Transport MEC Peggy Nkonyeni have conducted a physical inspection of the road where it occurred before engaging with the families.
The provincial government is looking into deploying more traffic inspectors on the road.
Zikalala has called for a thorough investigation into the crash and vowed to lend a helping hand to bereaved families.
