Following the death of legendary actor Patrick Shai, his colleague, The River star Hlomla Dandala leaked a video that he alleges was recorded approximately one week before Shai’s passing.
Hlomla captioned the video: “He loved what he did. Recorded approx one week before his passing #RipPatrickShai. “
In the video, Patrick is heard saying, “….it’s a wonderful space, If I were to die after this production, it would be cited on my arrival to inyanya zam no unkulunkulu (my ancestors and God) that I have had the last great moment working with wonderful people at this wonderful company.”
One of the fans who responded to the Instagram wrote: “Ohh man, he knew that his time was very close. May his soul rest in peace.”
