Police launches investigation into Verulam church robbery

An investigation has been launched after armed men robbed a KwaZulu-Natal church at gunpoint.

The incident was captured last night on camera, during the live streaming of the service in Verulam, North of Durban.

Congregants were robbed of their possessions, with the criminals making off with church equipment and some appliances.

The suspects then escaped with vehicles belonging to some of the victims.

Two were recovered not too far from the church, while one car is still missing.
