Steve Harvey set to host South Africa’s version of Family Feud

The popular American TV show, Family Feud, will soon get a South African twist as Mzansi gets its own version. The show’s host, Steve Harvey, will be the SA host as well and we can’t wait to see what hilarity he cooks up.

South Africa is playing catch-up it seems. First, we got Uyajola, the South Africa version of America’s Cheaters, and now Mzansi is getting its own version of the popular US show, Family Feud. Along with this, we’re also getting the current host, Steve Harvey. TimesLIVE reported that Steve flew over to South Africa recently and made the announcement of an African version of his show on Monday, 26 August.

Family Feud sees two families competing against each other to give the most popular answers to questions, and it’s considered very entertaining. The show has been running for many years – since 1976 – and Steve has been the host since 2010

Recording for Family Feud SA will start in October and we’ll get to see the first episode early in 2020. Check out this funny moment when Steve was talking to eNCA and got the host, Shahan Ramkissoon, a new name: Reshaun Pattison.
