Vereeniging businesses accuse police of corruption

Former Orange Farm Station Commander Sibongile Ndaba is under fire again.

This time it’s Vereeniging business owners who want her removed from their police station.

Vereeniging business owners are accusing police in the area of robbing their businesses of thousands of rands, sometimes in full uniform.

They also accuse Ndaba of covering up the crimes.

They handed over a memorandum to the police to air their grievances.

Police say they’ll respond to the matter as soon as possible.
