KwaZulu-Natal: At 00H41 Thursday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Chief Mhlabunzima Road in Surrey Farm Pietermaritzburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that two light motor vehicles were involved in a head on collision.
Paramedics assessed the scene and found that a 3-year-old female who was ejected by one of the cars that had rolled had died on scene.
Another five patients sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
Once treated all the patients were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.
