Valencia 2 – 0 Granada

Valencia staggered past Granada in a 2-0 victory on Saturday at Mestalla. Valencia wanted to continue adding points after winning away by a 1-2 victory against Espanyol while Granada fell defeated by 1-2 in the last match they played against Real Sociedad. As of today, Valencia and Granada are tied on 20 points sitting in position 7 and 6 respectively after 13 matches.
Both sides were struggling to produce anything in the first half and the teams went to the dressing room locked in a 0-0.
Valencia boosted the game in the second half, with a goal from Daniel Wass 74 minutes in the game. Later, Valencia scored again and increased their advantage 2-0 thanks to a goal from Ferrán Torres in the 90th minute just before the end of the second half, which saw the second half to a 2-0.
