Health Dept launches Electronic Vaccination Data System
The COVID-19 vaccine rollout will be managed using the Electronic Vaccination Data System (EVDS).
Health Minister, Zweli Mkhize, launched the system on Wednesday. Meanwhile, South Africa’s COVID-19 death toll is at 44,946.
In the last 24 hours, there have been 2,649 new COVID-19 cases in the country, taking the total number of cases to 1,458,948.
The EVDS system makes it quick and easy to get your #COVID19 vaccine. As per Phase One of the rollout plan, all healthcare workers should register on the system.
