Durban residents fed up with unstable power

It’s been over five days without electricity for some residents in West Ridge, Durban.
Residents say electricity issues in the area stretches as far back as 2015.
They’re calling out the eThekwini Municipality for doing nothing to solve this.
Horn Manor Gardens Ratepayers’ Association Janus Horn said, “electricity problems started in 2015 and it has been ongoing since…it’s the ailing infrastructure casing the problems, we have numerous outages up to to 36 hours, we don’t sleep at night and this is a daily occurrence at the present moment.”
