University of Johannesburg rated 1 of the world’s best institutions

The University of Johannesburg (UJ) has enjoyed a meteoric rise up the ranking system for the best universities in the world.
UJ moved up by a remarkable 59 places to rank among the top 1.8% of universities worldwide – In the Africa standings, UJ has climbed to the 5th best on the continent
The University of Johannesburg (UJ) is growing its reputation as a centre for academic excellence.

The university enjoyed a phenomenal rise up the ranking system for the best universities in the world. Thanks to a rise of a magnificent 59 places, UJ now ranks among the top 1.8% of universities worldwide. UJ performed exceptionally well in various areas, including employer reputation and staff-to-student ratio.

A statement from the university read: “UJ is now among the South African top risers, together with the University of Cape Town and the University of Pretoria – as compared to UJ’s exceptional climb of 59 places.
