Justice Minister slammed for misuse of office to unfairly attack Floyd Shivambu over Bushiri’s Easter service

Justice Minister slammed for misuse of office to unfairly attack Floyd Shivambu over Bushiri’s Easter service! The Forum for South Africa (FOSA) has slammed Justice Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi for what it calls the misuse of her office to unfairly attack MK Party Secretary-General Floyd Shivambu.

ANC's Mmamoloko Kubayi says SA needs to get rid of illegal power connections

This comes after Kubayi criticised Shivambu for visiting fugitive pastor Shepherd Bushiri’s Enlightened Christian Gathering Church in Malawi, calling the move a blatant disregard for South Africa’s legal system.

The Minister’s comments followed viral videos of Shivambu being acknowledged during the church’s Easter service.

FOSA says the minister should not use her position to question personal choices and should instead focus on Bushiri’s extradition.

The organisation’s leader, Tebogo Mashilompane, “Minister Kubayi must stop interfering in people’s personal lives by using the state umbrella, but she must strive to bring Bushiri back in the country. If she wants to attack Floyd, she may do so on her personal capacity as a private citizen, not dragging the entire ministry into issues that have nothing to do with her ministry.”
