Western Cape Labour Dept to investigate undocumented migrants in farms

Tensions between farmworkers have spilled out into the streets of Robertson’s Nkqubela township.

Lesotho and Zimbabwe nationals have been fighting over scarce job opportunities in the area.

The Western Cape Labour Department’s chief inspector, David Esau says they need to determine how undocumented people got work on the farms.
