uMngeni Mayor Chris Pappas denies nepotism allegations

uMngeni Mayor Chris Pappas insists the nepotism allegations levelled against him are baseless. The allegations against Pappas surfaced after he was named DA KZN premier candidate. On Monday, the ANC Youth League is planning a protest in Howick but Pappas says he won’t entertain the march.

“The reason why I haven’t spoken about it is because we knew there was a political agenda and we were right,” he said.

So tomorrow or Monday there is a planned protest by the ANC Youth League and you can see where this came from so I’m not fazed by it, I know it’s not true and we will continue with our message of hope across KZN.”
