UEFA issues statement on Christian Eriksen’s current health condition. There was a good 20 minutes emotional scenes in Denmark after the country’s talisman Christian Eriksen collapsed whilst playing against Finland in their EURO2020 first game match.
Eriksen collapsed by himself as he was making a run after receiving a ball from a throw-in. EUFA has issued a statement on the player’s condition. Statement below
Following the medical emergency involving Denmark’s player Christian Eriksen, a crisis meeting has taken place with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET.
The player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised.
