Minnie Dlamini Heading to Istanbul for the UEFA Champions League Finals

For the football lovers out there, here’s some news to make you jealous. Actress and TV personality Minnie Dlamini, just out of being named this year’s DStv MVCA host, is heading to Turkey for the UEFA Champions League finals. The winner of club football’s most coveted trophy will be decided on 30 May, 2020 at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.

Minnie has partnered with Lays South Africa to find 10 people who will accompany her to this game. She broke the news on Instagram.

The advert was shot on the beach in Camps Bay, Cape Town. Minnie is seen kicking a soccer ball high up into the air, and the ball lands in a dirt bin. In the video, Minnie confessed that she, in fact, can not kick a soccer ball “to save her life”.

“We’re in the beautiful city of Cape Town and on set for my new Lays campaign which I’m so excited about,but when Lays told me about the campaign and what I’d be doing today, I told them, I can’t kick a soccer ball to save my life, so for those of you who guessed it…we cheated. It wasn’t real. It was all cameras, all production, because I have zero soccer skills in my body. Nothing… absolutely nothing,” said the beautiful Dlamini who sports big hoops ears and a cute white beach Kimono.

The Instagram video received more than 35 000 views in just under an hour, with hundreds of comments.

The late wife of rap artist Pitch Black Afro (Thulani Ngcobo) is said to have died of severe head injuries inflicted with a blunt object.

This is according to pathologist Dr Robert Ngude, who conducted a medico-legal examination of Cathrine Modisane’s body eight days after her death. The Star reports that Ngude testified on Thursday at the High Court in Johannesburg during Ngcobo’s on-going trial in which he is facing a charge of murder. Read more
