Two years since SA was placed on lockdown

When President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the country’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, restrictions were expected to last for 21 days.
This turned into weeks, and then months and then years. The 26th of March marks two years since the first lockdown. At first dismissed as nothing more than bad flu, COVID-19 has become a global pandemic.
