Two people injured in cash-in-transit heist

Two guards have been injured following a cash-in-transit heist on the N3 in Johannesburg on Saturday. The N3 south was closed between the Marlboro and London Road offramps.

The vehicle suspected to have rammed a security van was on fire but has since been extinguished.

Police are investigating the case. No arrests have yet been made and police have not released information on how much cash was stolen.
