Gauteng: At 09H17 Sunday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N1 North bound after New Road in Noordwyk Midrand.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control resulting in the vehicle crashing through the safety barrier and a boundry fence coming to rest in an office parking lot. Medics found two adult males who had sustained serious burns after the vehicle caught alight.
Both patients were treated on scene and once stabilised were transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
While in scene a secondary collision occurred on the N1 where three people sustained minor to moderate injuries.
