Thembi and Nakedi are Twitter’s favourite Couple #OurPerfectWedding

How often do people just connect or fall in love, without having seen the other partner initially?

Well, that’s exactly how Thembi and Nakedi’s love story began. She was a supervisor at her workplace and he was one of the technicians. It so happened that they were on the phone one day, and Nakedi took a liking to her voice.

He asked for her cellphone number and after a month or two of chats over the phone, he asked her for her picture, just so he could put a face to the voice. Six months later, they started dating. On their first date, they discovered they love the same food, how ironic!

Thembi says she loved the fact that she could talk to him about anything and everything. She shared some very personal things with him and was a little scared this might put him off, but it didn’t.

Some of the challenges they’ve faced included the fact that Nakedi’s mom passed away and sadly, they had to postpone the wedding. His mom’s passing away affected him a lot, such that he suffered from a health issue, which scared Thembi a lot because they were now living in different places due to work commitments. Luckily, they pulled through this.

On the day Nakedi proposed, he went out and bought a ring. Thembi thought he was joking when he asked her to marry him. They both laugh about this moment.

Tonight, they invite you to join them, as they start an amazing journey as husband and wife and also want to share this special day with all their friends and relatives who couldn’t make it to the wedding.
