Twitter target Kelly Khumalo after Sam Meyiwa’s death
In the wake of Sam Meyiwa’s death on Monday, Kelly Khumalo once again became the talk of the town as social media users targeted her for answers in the Senzo Meyiwa murder case Sam, who was incredibly vocal in the calls for Senzo’s killers to be brought to book died after a second stroke on Monday. His health took a nosedive after her suffered a major stroke in August 2018. Family spokesman Nathi Ngwenya told TimesLIVE that the family was in a state of shock about Meyiwa’s death.
Shortly after news of Sam’s death was confirmed, the hashtag #KellyKhumalo topped the trends list for hours. This is not the first time that Kelly has been cyberbullied over details of Senzo’s case The late Bafana Bafana goalkeeper was killed at Kelly’s mother’s house in Vosloorus, Johannesburg in 2014. Last month, shortly after Sunday World reported that arrests in the case were imminent, Kelly released a strong statement.
“If you strongly feel, believe and have evidence that I had something to do with my daughter’s father’s killing or I’m somehow protecting the killers? Then by all means necessary do lock me away and throw away the key.
Kelly added that the only thing she is guilty of is falling in love with a dishonest married man.
