Twitter clashes with Kwesta over SA hip-hop remarks
Kwesta is hardly a spotlight hogger, therefore many were disappointed that such shallow views came from an artist of his calibre. This also comes after Kwesta congratulated fellow rappers’, Nasty C and A-Reece on showing unity thus touring together on Nasty C’s coming up Ivyson Tour.
The year 2018 has been impressive on the hip-hop front, especially with various hot albums dropping throughout. However, Kwesta is of a different view, stating that most of the music thus far has been mediocre.
Kwesta went as far as tagging fellow rapper, Blaklez, implying to the masses that his newly released album, BabyBrother, also falls under the “mediocre category”.
