Tshegofatso Pule murder trial postponed

The trial of the alleged mastermind behind the Tshegofatso Pule murder, Nthuthuko Shoba, has been postponed to Thursday. The state’s next witness is out of the province.
Shoba is on trial for ordering a hit on his pregnant girlfriend, allegedly to stop his wife from finding out about the affair.
Pule’s body was found hanging from a tree on the West Rand two years ago. The family hopes that Shoba will take the stand to give his side of the story.
Tshegofatso Pule’s uncle Tumisang Katake said: “I wish I could articulate more on the defense side I am hoping that they put him on the stand because given that the version that’s been given in court about how he intended to defend himself sounds like there’s a lot of explaining to do. Also just to explain what happened and give his side of the story and put this thing to rest.
