South African singer and producer Tshego was recently in Mafikeng following the untimely passing of his mother. He took to social media to reveal that the week had been the hardest for him. “This week has been hard for us without you and I don’t see it getting any easier. I can’t say goodbye – instead, I’ll say goodnight for now. I’ll see you soon mom,” posted the rapper.
Earlier in the week, he shared snaps from what appeared to be the funeral. His caption read, “Only The Family.” This was followed by a picture of him sitting on the side of the road and captioned it. “Dust yourself off.. let’s move.”
Looking at his IG stories, it appears he is still at home in Mafikeng with his daughter and girlfriend.
Chatting to serial businessman Brad Belish on the Self Made series, Tshego revealed that his parents are the main reason he got into music in the first place. “Both my parents are ordained ministers. They always played gospel in the house. My dad was in love with country music. It always played in the house so when I expressed my interest in music I don’t think it came as a shock to them. And they supported my decision. Like I said, I was always a hustler and they knew If I said I was going to do something then I was going to do everything in my power to make it happen.” He said. He was still in his teens when he decided to take it seriously.
