Future investment is at risk, says Truckers Association following truck attacks
The freight industry cannot afford the truck attacks according to the Truckers Association of South Africa.
And business leaders warn that investor sentiment is taking a hit as law enforcement appears ill-equipped to prevent the burning of vehicles.
Truckers Association of SA president Mary Padi says South Africa also runs the risk of losing jobs in the industry and across its value chain as operators consider using routes in neighbouring countries.
