2 suspects arrested in connection with truck attacks in Mpumalanga

Another suspect has been arrested for torching trucks.

Two people aged 29 and 27 have now been apprehended in Mpumalanga.

The men were arrested at their place of residence.

The first suspect was arrested on a farm in Piet Retief with the assistance of a private security firm and the other in Ermelo.

Both suspects face a charge of malicious damage to property.

National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola says they are closing the net on those behind the attacks.
