SANDF might be deployed to curb Truck attacks

Soldiers could be called to help curb truck attacks on major routes across the country. The country is still under the National State of Disaster, and soldiers are active. Even under lockdown Level One.
Police Minister, Bheki Cele, says if need be, the South African National Defence Force will be asked to assist in dealing with truck attacks.
Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula says even though the government is worried about attacks on trucks, it is working on solving the issue. There has been a spate of incidents in Gauteng, Kwazulu-Natal, Free State and Mpumalanga.
Cele says 35 trucks have been destroyed in the last week. Over 20 people have been arrested in connection with the recent truck attacks.
