Trevor Noah to pay The Daily Show staff’s salaries out of his own pocket

Mzansi’s renowned comedian Trevor Noah, is reported to be paying the salaries of 25 furloughed crew members of The Daily Show, out of his own pocket. The comedian who is living large in the Big Apple, has been listed as the fourth highest-paid comedian in the world and if these reports are anything to go by, one would not be surprised.

Variety is reporting that Trevor will be paying the crew of the show until things get back to normal. Production on the show has been halted amidst the outbreak of Covid-19 to practice the call of social distancing.
