Position Purpose :

To assist with the shunting movements of locomotives within a specified shunting area in order to contribute to an effective locomotive utilisation

Position outputs :

Couple locomotive
Stabilise locomotive

Uncouple locomotive
Refuel locomotive

Qualifications & Experience :

Grade 12 preferable with Maths
Passed the test in duties of a Shed Assistant or be prepared to attend and pass the first available course
Physically fit
Visual acuity
