SAIPA TRAINEE ACCOUNTANT PRETORIA
Our firm is looking for SAIPA Trainee Accountants that wants to work in a dynamic environment in a range of industries
The firm is looking for a self-confident individual with a completed financial degree or studying towards an accounting degree, which likes to work as part of a team, but is also willing to take initiative and capable of working independently.
Successful candidates will be responsible for the performing of various functions within the business and will report directly the audit seniors/managers,
Qualification
Completed or in process of completing BCom (Financial Accounting), B Acc or equivalent degree
1 year experience in a finance, accounting or related field will be an added advantage but not a pre-requisite
Knowledge of accounting systems will be an added advantage but not a pre-requisite
SA Citizenship
Valid Driver’s License will be an added advantage but not a pre-requisite
Ability to speak/write English & Afrikaans
Must have the ability to work well in a team environment
Must have good time management, problem solving and delegation skills
Must have strong communication and presentation skills
Must have the ability to work under pressure
Own Transport
Responsibilities
Capture transactions in accounting records
Perform reconciliations
Bookkeeping to balance sheet
Prepare financial statements
Perform tax calculations and complete tax returns
Complete VAT returns
Perform general accounting functions according to company methodology
