Parents of Enyobeni tavern tragedy victims want toxicology results by Friday

Parents of the 21 children who died at the Enyobeni tavern in the Eastern Cape are still waiting for answers.
They are unhappy with how the investigations into what killed their children are handled.
A preliminary toxicology report found methanol in the blood of the victims.
The unhappy family members are now accusing authorities of speaking to the media but not updating them.
They are now demanding that government give them results by Friday.
One of the parents, Ntombizonke Nkangala said: “How could we hear of the availability of results over the radio of our own children?
“Authorities don’t understand how sensitive the issue is and how personal it is for us to hear an update over the radio.
“We need the results of what led to the death of our own children, the way they act shows they have results yet they don’t want to give them to us,” she said.
“We need results not later than Friday this week, and we don’t want them to come to our homes as it traumatizes us as we don’t have closure about our children.”
