The Minister of Tourism Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane will meet with the tourism industry on Monday evening in light of the latest development around COVID-19. The coronavirus outbreak could severely impact the tourism industry.
With at least seven cases of Covid-19 confirmed in South Africa so far, some of the world’s most famous sites have been shut, knocking tourist numbers. Tourism is one of the biggest contributors to the economy.
