South Africa has top-flight status in the US
South Africa can fly to the United States without restrictions.
Civil Aviation Authority CEO Poppy Khoza says this is the result of the public entity’s clean audits for nearly a decade.
It’s also been passing USA audits and has maintained a Category 1 status, the highest in the eyes of the United States.
“Of note is that we’ve had clean audits for nine years and this is a record we must preserve,” she said.
