Thuli Phongolo was rumoured to be dating three male celebrities in the entertainment industry this year. The DJ insisted she was single after each rumour began to spread but Tweeps were not entirely convinced. Here’s a look at her three rumoured bae’s for 2021.

1. MASTER KG

Thuli Phongolo was rumoured to be dating Master KG in August this year. This was because the DJ commented on the Jerusalema hitmaker’s tweet about older women.

The DJ took to Twitter to address the rumours but her response had the Twitter streets fired up.

DJ MAPHORISA

DJ Maphorisa was the most believable but the most controversial romance rumour of Thuli’s for the year. The pair sparked romance rumours when several videos of being smitten while dancing went viral on Twitter in October.

Tweeps were convinced the pair were together and Orlando Pirates player Thembinkosi Lorch seemingly confirmed their romance. The pair trended on Twitter for about two weeks. Some Tweeps thought Thuli was using DJ Maphorisa to reignite her DJ career. Other Tweeps thought DJ Maphorisa was “too dark” for Thuli, sparking a conversation of colourism on Twitter.

The socialite denied the rumours.

3. MR JAZZIQ

Mr JazziQ sparked romance rumours with Thuli after he posted pictures with her on Instagram. The pictures were taken at Riky Rick’s luxurious dinner party in November. Take a look…

Thuli yet again denied the rumours and insisted she is single.
